A Travellerspoint blog

3rd week

overcast 25 °C

Safi is a quiet, easy going city, quite untouristic. It's a good place to relax for a few days, away from the hassle of souk vendors. There's a very nice ridge wit ha good view of the port (and phosphate plant...). I stayed there 2 nights to relax a bit. This is the first city where I've seen couples walk hand in hand. This seems to become more common the further north one gets, probably the European influence.
