I met Renata from San Francisco and Anna from somewhere in New Jersey. We went on a three day trek around McLeod together. Here are some of the pictures that Renata was kind enough to share with me, since using my camera is pretty much useless:

The Starting picture. I am on the left, Anna in the middle, and Renata on the right.

Here are some pictures along the path we followed along the mountain slope.

Our goal for the first day: The Guna Devi or Guna temple. The high peaks in the background belong to the Dhauladhar mountain range.

This is a picture we took on the second day. After hours of walking and especially climbing we reached the top of the ridge.

What we hadn't realized is that the top of the ridge where we had just arrived featured a cafe and plenty of people. We had unwittingly returned to half an hour from McLeod! This was quite a damper of our mood, since we intended to camp in isolated places. After an unsuccessful attempt to reach Triund, and a lot of searching for a camping spot, we spent the night on a beautiful place along a path that led back to McLeod. On the third day we slept in and just went back to McLeod, leaving Triund for another day.
