Ok, I got back in Dahab a few days ago. I need to get back my diving equipment that I left here when I left for Israel. I'm headed for Safaga now for 10 days of fun dives. I didn't have the occasion to do even one fundive during my 6 months of working as a divemaster, always work work work. Finally I can do what I want :-D
I got into Egypt at the Taba border. They only give you the Sinai visa there, which is a visa that allows you to stay only in the Sinai peninsula. Since I have to go to Safaga I had to get a normal visa. You know how the bureaucrats send you from one office to the other? Well, the Egyptians do that, too, only the different offices are in different CITIES!!! God I hate them. Well, not all of them, I'm very grateful to the guy who bent the rules to finally give me a stamp on my visa. Anyway, 2 more weeks and I'm out of here for good.
