Pot smoker's paradise

sunny 25 °C

Chefchaouen is a wonderful little village in the moutains.
The dominant colour in the medina is blue, which is a welcome change from the normal brown elsewhere.
The surrounding mountains offer plenty of opportunity to relax and take a walk.
This region is also the heart of moroccan haschisch production and Chefchaouen the capital of small scale deals (meaning it's full of tourists that want to get high. Large scale deals for transport to Europe are made a little further in another village).
The medina itself is very beautiful, but very annoying because of all the dealers that want to sell you haschisch. Since most of them are assholes I ended up not buying anything from them. Even though I intended to in the beginning, I don't like to be pressured to do even something I want to!
Since I can't go to Algeria I decided to spend some time in the desert and went south again.
